When I was little my family lived in Lehi and during the summers I remember going swimming at the Lehi Pool A LOT. It is one of my favorite summertime memories. I loved taking my swim goggles and throwing pennies or other things into the water and then diving to find them. I loved that we lived close enough to walk or ride our bikes so that we could go anytime we wanted. I loved going off the diving boards and daring my friends and siblings to go off the high dive -everyone that did THAT was considered to be SO brave. I remember laying out on the hot cement trying to get warm after getting out of the pool. And I especially remember always saving my money so that I could to go and buy TREATS from the inside snack shack.
Another favorite summertime memory is going to get SNOW CONES after going swimming as a family. I don’t remember going very often (maybe 1-2 times each summer) but because it was so rare it was really a special TREAT and I always remember being so excited when we went to get them as a family.
So for me…SNOW CONES = SUMMER!!! And they are something that I just HAVE to get for me and my kids to officially welcome in the season. Below are our first snow cones of the year! So excited!
