Surprise Dinner Date

Adam and I tried for weeks to go on a date together to celebrate our 7 year anniversary, but we kept having things come up that prevented us from getting away. And even on the night we finally did get things figured out so that we could go out we ended up having to cut things short because of a sick little Branson. However, Adam really out did himself this time and completely shocked me for our date! The plan was for Adam and I to meet up at Mum and Smurfs where I would drop off the kids and he would come and pick me up. Well, when Adam came to get me he brought a bit of a surprise? What was it you ask? Well lets just say that I was wishing I had wore some 1940’s high heels and red lipstick with a fancy flowery hat because the 1946 Mercedes was NOT was I was expecting to be picked up in! 🙂

The kids and I all got a big kick out of it and I must admit that it was super fun to drive around town in a true classic convertible (although a bit cold at the same time). Adam and I sure got some funny looks from people. Adam took me to a little sandwich shop in Springville called “The steak and everything grill” where we ordered a Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich and a mint brownie to share. Then on the way home Adam let me drive! So fun, although not quite as luxurious as our cars now-a-days with power steering features, radio, heating, and cruise control, but still it was a once in a lifetime experience! Thanks for making our date so memorable Adam! I love you so much. (P.S. The car was actually one the auto-shop Adam owns purchased at Auction to fix up and re-sell. Adam was able to borrow it for the weekend)

At Mum and Smurfs trying out the new car as a family!

She’s a beauty eh?

I sure do love my little family!

Thanks babe for an absolutely delightful evening! You are the best!
