Temple Square

Back in mid-March our wonderful friends the Jurgens were able to plan a wonderful activity for our Jurashics group up at Temple Square.  Our main purpose for going up was to see the Church History Museum – but unfortunately for us the museum ended up closing 2 hours earlier than expected at 5:00 even though it was clearly marked on its website to close at 7:00.  Our time of arrival…4:55.  So we basically got to walk in the doors, do a little turn about, and then walk back out.  Oh well.  We laughed and had fun exploring *other* parts of temple square.
We were able to go through the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then took a walk to the reflection pond and around temple square.  I love this shot of all our boys holding hands. It just makes my heart smile to know that we are starting a second generation of best friends!

Yep, you see that right – 6 Boys between us and the Jurgens.  And then 2 more when the Ashby’s are with us for a total of 8 boys and 1 girl in our group of friends! Adalynn will have her choice of dates when she gets older for sure!

We spent more time taking pictures OUTSIDE the Museum than inside.  But we sure got some cute shots!

Funny Faces!

Mommy was there too!

My two cute boys and the BEAUTIFUL flowers on Temple Square!
I love to see the Temple!
Since the museum was closed we decided to venture over to the visitors center where the boys loved seeing the gigantic statue of Christ.  From there we headed over to the Lion House where we were able to indulge our St. Patty’s Day cravings for corn beef and cabbage and chicken over rice.  Sure was tasty! And we even got extra rolls! 🙂 Yum!

We ended the evening by walking around outside while the boys played in the water and got all their wiggles out!

Sure was a lovely evening spent with AMAZING friends.  We sure love all you Jurashic Eggs peeps! Thanks for being apart of our lives!
