Temple Square and Adobe Christmas Party

Last Friday was Adobe’s yearly company party and since we were going to be in the Salt Lake area anyway, we thought it would be fun to take the kids to Temple Square to see the lights. Unfortunately our plans were somewhat thwarted when traffic was bad and didn’t leave us much time, but we did the ol’ drop off one of us with the kids and drive around the block VERY slowly trick and that seemed to work wonderfully. The kids and Adam got to see the lights and I got a few minutes to listen to Christmas music and reflect on my many blessings. Adam was good enough to take some pictures so I could also get a glimpse of the beauty as well.

After seeing the lights we took the kids to my awesome sister-in-law Marcie’s house – who was kind enough to take the kids during our party and we got to check out our niece Danny’s engagement ring and wedding dress! She will be such a beautiful bride! Then we were off to the Adobe party at the Grand America Hotel. This year they did things a little different and based the party off of kids games and FUN. You got tickets for playing Wii and xBox games and then they also had pool, Foosball, and air hockey competitions. My favorite part though was when they did a rock paper scissors competition between EVERYONE at attended. They kept it going until only two people were left. The winner got a all expense paid trip to Tahitti! Boy was I coveting that! It was a super fun night!

My favorite was the tinsel running down both arms!

And my ugly sweater. Also homemade.

They had several different tables of different foods.
This one was Asian themed. Adam was in Heaven.

Sure was a fun little date with my sweetie! Thanks Marcie for watching the kids!
We sure think you are great!
