The road to Paradise. Maui part 2

It’s only taken me over a month to finally get around to posting more pictures of our romantic Maui get-a-way trip back in August, but thats what happens when the pictures are on your hunk of a husbands laptop! Unfortunately I’m too lazy to organize the pics day by day like I had planned, and then my laziness increases even more when I think of writing all about each adventure we had. Have I mentioned I’m having a lazy day? 🙂 So hopefully the pictures will really be worth 1000 words and I won’t need to write them! We had a great time though and enjoyed every minute of being away.

One of the sites on the road to Hana

Getting ready to hike to the 3 waterfalls

Our wonderful friends Kimber and Eric joined us for a few days of our trip. We had a blast together and enjoyed snorkeling, hiking, driving around, eating out, taking silly pictuers and video’s and eating tuna fish sandwiches!

What up G-Dog? The Egberts are in the house

The 3 waterfalls and us being silly!

Another view of what we saw on our drive to Hana

A bamboo forest jungle we walked through to get to the first waterfall

We love these guys! Always making us laugh.

More Bamboo forest

On our first day in Maui we woke up WAY early (3:45 am) and drove up to one of the volcano’s in Maui to see the sunrise. It was beautiful!

Some Tide pools we stopped at on the road to Hana. The waves were enormous, and as Adam climbed on a rock to get a picture a big wave came by and almost knocked him over! Needless to say he ended up taking a picture of all white! (the wave!)

Silly Boys!

I love this video clip! Our version of a scene from the 3 amigos!

Sarah, now I’m thinking I need to see Maui. It’s beautiful and it looks like you had the perfect traveling companions to have a wonderful time. You still look skinny, girl! BTW, my blog is open again.
