One day while the kids had their friend Sammy over to play – the house got unusually quiet for awhile and then unusually loud and giggly immediately afterwards. Then I heard lots of water running which definitely warranted an investigation. So up I went where I discovered that the kids had found a BRAND NEW tube of blue kids toothpaste which they used to have a huge war with! And it was no small war either as they had smeared it on each other, flung it across the room at each other and squished it out wherever and on whatever they could. Needless to say, the war came to a very abrupt stop, and a new game of “cleaning up the blue toothpaste of death” was put into play and wet rags passed around. Those involved (in my family at least) were also instructed to “pay” for the toothpaste that had been wasted and had to fork over several quarters each to pay for the mischief. Just another day with three boys! ha!
