Treasures in the Laundry

We have a system at our house when it comes to doing laundry.  The system is that the boys put their dirty clothes in the hamper, and somehow magically all their clothes get washed, dried, folded, and put away for them.  Its a pretty great and awesome system for the kids and usually one that happens everyday (laundry is the ONE thing I’m actually pretty good at keeping up on).  However, there are a few rules when it comes to Mom doing all their laundry for them: 1) They have to take off their own belts before pants go in the basket and 2) They have to check and empty out their own pockets. Not too hard, right?
So I have to laugh when in ONE laundry load alone I find the following items at the bottom of my washing machine. 1 penny, 1 nickel, 1 marble, 1 spinning top, 1 army guy, 1 wolf badge, and 3 beaded necklaces.  It totally made me laugh and I wanted to record it.  Oh the joys of having boys! 🙂
