Visit from Mom and the Spanish Fork Splash Pad

At the end of April and beginning of May Adam had a big two week trip to India for work and so my wonderful Mommy came down to help me one night.  I was really needing some away time and I wanted to take my Mom out for Mothers Day (she was going to be busy on the real Mothers Day) so I got a babysitter for the night and the two of us had a little girl time where we went to dinner at Magleby’s fresh and then out to see the movie “The Dragon Slayer.”  It was so nice to spend an evening spoiling my Mom.  When we got home I presented Mom with a book I made her for Mothers Day with lots of pictures and memories from our trip to Mexico together.  Then we ended up staying up until midnight talking!  I sure do love this Mom of mine!

On Saturday morning we made popeye pancakes for breakfast and then Mom took off to go and visit her friend who had just had surgery and to go and pick up my Papa.  The kids and I stayed home to clean the house but met back up with her later for lunch at Costco where she treated us to hot dogs and drinks! (Thanks Mom!)  Then after a little shopping we decided to finish up the day with a quick trip to the Spanish Fork Splash Pad Park.  Its always a hit with the kids!

Cutest plumbers crack I’ve ever seen!

Spinning on the chairs.  Both Branson and Harry got sick on them and Branson ended up throwing up the second we arrived home out front on the lawn.  Poor guy.  Reminds me of someone else I know (me!)  I did the same thing when I was little too.

Thank you again Mom for coming down and helping me for the night.  I sure do love you!
