Willow Park Zoo

On Wednesday during our Spring Break vacation- the kids and I decided it would be fun to head over to the Willow Park Zoo to see the animals.  Adam went into Logan to work in the morning, but then came home for lunch at the cabin where he gave us the exciting news that he had been recommended for a new position within Adobe by two people and had just interviewed unexpectedly for it.  They were supposed to make a decision by that evening.  Wow!  So we had a bunch of pondering and praying to do…and FAST!
After lunch we took Adam back into town in Logan where we dropped him off at the library to continue his work day and then hit the zoo.  The kids loved seeing all the animals and enjoyed all the hands on experiences they got to have.  Bransons favorite was when a bird kept following him back and forth along the fence and imitated his every move.  It was quite awesome.  Adalynn loved the turtles “turd-dow” and spent the entire afternoon talking about them.  Dawson and Harry just loved running as fast as they could from one thing to the next. 🙂  Below are some pics from our day.

Adam decided to walk over to the temple from the library during one of his conference calls so we were able to pick him up over there after his work day was finished.  I think he needed a calm quiet place to collect this thoughts to pray about whether or not he should take the new job or not.  In the end we both ended up feeling really peaceful about it and Adam decided to make the change.  He misses his old co-workers but loves being involved in this new project where he is really able to use a lot of what he learned in business school and where he’ll be able to travel Internationally.

Sure was a fun day and exciting day!
