Saturday evening we thought it would be fun to take the kids out to the Willow park zoo to play and see some animals. We first let the kids play on the playground for a bit and then headed over to see the animals before it got dark.

One of the first attractions we saw was the Monkeys. Dawson was in monkey heaven as his favorite soft toy is a monkey and he loves making their sounds!

The kids seemed to enjoy the ducks and birds the most because they got to FEED them with little pellets we bought for 10 cents.

Dawson kept cracking us up because he either would try to eat the pellets himself
or feed them to us!
It was really cool to see bald eagles close up
And I LOVED this bird. I wish I could get my hair to do that!
Sure was a cute and fun little park to spend the evening!
