After lunch, Adam took the boys over to Porcupine Creek to fish, while I went and rested my weary eyes for a few minutes. They didn’t catch anything but sure had fun trying!
We learned on this trip that Dawson likes to collect things. Specifically he liked to collect tree bark, and would tear it off trees and carry it around every where he went! Crazy boy!
I ended up waking up just moments before the boys got back. We spent the next hour getting beds made up and collecting and breaking more logs for the fire.
Then later that evening our wonderful Nephews and Niece showed up! They had hiked up to Lake Gadsby and brought back some rain with them! It ended up raining on us pretty much the rest of the night!
We had a ball eating dinner together though (Mountain house Teriyaki chicken, pudding and marshmallows, and then we all headed to bed around 9:30 or 10:00. We were all bushed! The kids slept in one tent while Adam and I slept in another right next to them.
