Mount Edith Cavell Pond and Angel Glacier

After going to Maligne Lake, we headed South West where we hoped to get a good view of Angel Glacier on Mount Edith (the highest mountain in Jasper).  The weather started turning crummy again, but luckily only sprinkled on us as we did the short little hike to the pond and to see the Glacier. I was so glad we made the trip because it sure was beautiful!

Loved this view of the Glacier from the road so much that I had to stop and take a picture!

A close up of the Glacier from the parking lot.

We hiked up to the pond and hoped to go down to where the ice was but warning signs advised us to stay on the path for flash flood reasons, so we did.

Funny faces!!!

Loved the view of a nearby lake!  Check out that color!

Cool waterfall cascading down the rocks from the Glacier.

We stopped to snack at the top and get our munchees out.

Harry got his tongue stuck in his water bottle! Funny boy!

Lots of great father and son talks during our three week trips and chances to learn.

This little guy came out from the rocks when he saw the kids eating snacks.  He loved having a nibble of Dawsons apple!

Heading back down the trail we saw a pretty river.

And another little squirrel came looking for a snack. Ady fed this one some nuts.

Love making special memories with my sweet family! 🙂
