Ponta Do Raminho & Queimado – Terceira Azores

Another stop that I really loved was to hike up to the top of the hill you see in the picture below! Although it didn’t have a great view of the water, it did have an awesome view of the surrounding countryside! Adam ended up preferring a nap to hiking, so I once again did the trek solo, but loved getting to see more of the treasures of this island!

This was the best view of the water that I got!

It had this cool looking structure/monument at the top of the hill where two Azoreans were making out until I so rudely interrupted them! ha ha!

Another view of the water from the top.

I can’t remember how many stairs there were to climb to the top, but it was a lot! You can see about a fourth of them in the picture below.

From the hill we drove over to a place called Ponta Do Raminho which means “Sprig Point.” This was such a beautiful view of the island! Another one of my favorites from the day!

The below photo is the view looking East the above photos were looking West.

The next place we stopped at was Ponta Do Quimado or “Burning Point.” I think you can see why from the pictures below! Check out that red rock! So pretty! This was also a really gorgeous place as well.

Can you believe how beautiful this place is? I was loving every minute of it!
