Kooteney National Park – Marble Canyon

Monday evening we ended up deciding to take a drive up to Kooteney National Park which is right next to Banff, and below Yoho National park.  Believe it or not, there are actually FOUR National parks right next to each other, (that make up the Canadian Rockies) and we loved that we got to see each one during our time in Canada.  Each one was a little taste of heaven!
Our first stop was to the Continental Divide which is the line where all rivers on the North side of the divide flow out to the Atlantic ocean (going NORTH) and then all rivers South of the divide flow down to the Pacific ocean. We loved learning new things as we went.

Looking at one of Kooteney’s Glaciers!

Our first stop of the evening was to Marble Canyon which I unfortunately didn’t get to see since it was feeding time for Jamis.  So he and I hung out in the van to pump a bottle while Adam took the other kids out to see the canyon. From the pictures Adam took it looks to be a fun and beautiful place.

And its always worth the hike when there is a beautiful waterfall at the end! Gorgeous!
