The last excursion we did while in Yosemite was to hike up to Glacier Point. The hike was only a mile long (each way) but we didn’t get there until just as the sun was going down and so we tried to book it as fast as we could. In fact Branson and Harry and I ended up running up most of the trail so we could get some pictures before our light was gone. We’d heard great things about this hike (like how you have a 360 degree view of the entire park) so we were anxious to get up there while we still had day light. It was sure a gorgeous hike though and the lighting pretty near perfect! You just can’t beat hiking at sunset! GORGEOUS!
And here we are at the top of the mountain! The best part? It really did have 360 degree views!
We made it! Yay!
These next pictures are pretty blurry as they were taken with my iphone 3 camera (after Adam’s phone battery died), but I love them all the same!
Adam and I both commented on our way back how awesome the hike had been and how surreal it was to see it at sunset! We will definitely be doing this again someday! 😉
