Yes, I know. We went to New York clear back in the beginning of July! But, life gets busy. Vacations happen. School and homework continue. Groceries need to be bought. Yard and house work need to be done. Children need to be tended to, and….well sometimes when your camera breaks, you have to rely on your awesomest father in law to burn you a copy of pictures from his camera so you can post to your blog! (Thanks so much Smurf. We love you!) So for future posterity….here is a shot by shot picture list of all the fun things we did in New York!

The boys took the tour in their deluxe stroller at Super fast speeds as we only had a few hours to see the ENTIRE museum (only got through maybe half of it).

Took a stroll through central park and let the kids play in the water. Needless to say Branson’s diaper weighed about 20 lbs by the time we were done! đ

Took the Subway and other public transportation 1.5 hours into the city each day to see the sights and then took another 1.5 hours to get back!

Went shopping in China Town and bought Adam 2 new wedding rings (He’s lost 3 so far in our almost 6 years of marriage. AND we got a two for one deal!)

Got Yelled at by about 15 people on our way up to and down from the Empire State Building. One of those times being about 2 minutes after this picture for “sitting on the floor.”

Took the kids to the Jekle and Hyde Restaurant with live entertainment. This shark would open its mouth and a human head was inside that would talk to you. Branson thought it was the coolest shark EVER!

Spent half our days carrying the 2 person stroller up and down more stairs than we ever thought existed. Luckily SOME places had escalators. Whew!

Although our New York trip was super exhausting and Adam and I have vowed NEVER to travel anywhere over 4 hours with two kids in a plane EVER again! đ we did have a great time being with our wonderful family and getting a small taste of the city life. Thanks Mum and Smurf and Cam and Erin for organizing such a great trip! We love you!

What a fun trip! It looks like you got to see a lot of really cool places. Miss you!!! I hope you’re all doing well!
