Pennsylvania Shawnee Village

Day 7 (in Shawnee village Pennsylvania) Adam and I did a couples hike to have some alone time to a place called counsel rock which had beautiful views of the mountains and river, a small waterfall, and pond with Lilly pads. We even saw a super cool and colorful centipede! Once again I was in awe with the beautiful world God has created for us all to enjoy and the diversity in his creations.

As we hiked we talked about a new exciting opportunity that may come to our family and weighed the pros and cons of it. No details yet, but hoping for more information tonight! 🥰

We also met two men who had been backpacking across the United States named “Cool whip, and Smooth.” 😂 (No joke, but what fun nicknames!) When we asked what their favorite part of their travels had been they instantly responded by saying “the people we’ve met along the way.” That really warmed my heart.

We then headed home where Adam had booked us to play minute to win it, and family feud at the activities center. I left a bit early to go pick up a grocery order from Walmart I had put in that morning. Seriously so grateful for all the hours that service alone has saved me! ☺️ Best invention ever!

We then had some pool and park time before heading home for dinner where Harry cooked us all up some potstickers, stir fry, and honeydew, with hot cookies and ice cream for dessert.

We ended the night by watching National treasure with Nicolas Cage to once again see

some of the places we had just toured. Very fun day with the family.
