This weekend the kids had Friday off school so we decided to make a party out of it and go camping for our first time this year! I love me some camping and have been itching to go and use our new to us 1996 trailer! 😂
We hit up a little place Adam had been to with his scouts near Elberta and had fun playing Corn hole, frisbee golf, apples to apples, Uno, and a new game called mission prep that was actually super fun!
The kids got their creative on and made a really cool stick hut while Adam and I worked on getting our heater, propane, and generator working and tinfoil dinners made.
Unfortunately no luck getting the heater or generator working so we were worried about sleeping cold, but thankfully we invested in good sleeping bags years ago and all kept warm! ☺️
The next day our friends the Steeds joined us and we enjoyed checking out the Tintic Railroad tunnel with them that was built for a train track. We were all surprised when we could actually drive through! But such a nice little weekend getaway spent with friends and family amongst Gods beautiful creations! My heart is full! ❤️
