Picnic up Santaquin Canyon with the Jurashics

After getting back from our 12 day vacation to Washington and Oregon we were lucky enough to get to spend an evening with our awesome Jurashics friends! Everyone brought their own dinner and then we headed to Santaquin Canyon for a picnic. I am always amazed at how being up in nature FILLS me. It just always makes me feel better to be in the mountains. And then combining that with amazing awesome friends? Its definitely an emotional high! Love these good folks! We sure have been blessed when it comes to the friend department!

For the most part, everyone got Costa Vida. Adam and I decided to go against the grain and brought up Indian food! Yum!

We ended up finding a great picnic spot that was right next the river and totally isolated and away from all the crowds. We loved it!

I love this blurry shot of Joey coming off down the mountain! He kept going up there so he could feel “superior” since he is the only one without hair! 😉 ha ha.

The boys talking shop!

I love how much fun we all have when we are together! We sure missed Kimber though who was in Texas saying her last goodbyes to her dying Grandma! We were sending her our hugs and love though.

As we were leaving we found this cool hollowed out tree that someone had carved what looked to be a little childs seat. We teased it was natures high chair! I had to try it out!

As we were driving out of the canyon we got to see this awesome sunset!

It just kept getting better and better so we ended up pulling off the side of the road to sit and watch it in all its glory! So so pretty!

How blessed we are, not only to have such amazing friends, but to live in such a beautiful place! Oh how I love Utah!
