Spring break 2022 was definitely a fun one! It consisted of two days camping in Daves Hollow and hiking all over Bryce Canyon exploring Hikes such as Hat shop, Tower bridge, Mossy cave, and bristlecone pines, and then we moved and did 3 nights in Escalante.
We had Adams family join us on Monday and loved Dutch oven cooking around the campfire in the evening, after a full day hiking. We then joined them at their posh campground Tuesday night after another day hiking, which had a hot tub, pool, hot showers, and a fun drive in movie (that we had to leave when we realized the movie wasn’t family friendly). 😳 But we improvised and watched “The blind side” on Adams laptop in our trailer instead. 🥰
Wednesday through Friday we spent down in Escalante where we hiked Devils Garden, Zebra, and Egypt 1 slot canyons, and then camped near a beautiful white rock mountain with dinosaur footprints, caves, and which had its own slot canyon which was also fun to explore.
We played volleyball, had big bonfires, roasted starbursts, eat tinfoil dinners, played frisbee, jumped off hills into soft sand, and enjoyed running water and flushing toilets in our trailer! 😂 (at least the last 2 days when Adam figured out how to fix a water leak we had). But such an awesome, beautiful, and fun week away with my favorite people! ❤️
As always I was just left in awe and gratitude for Gods beautiful creations, and the incredible world he has created for us to enjoy. 🥰
