We've been Flashed! - Wanderings

Nooo….not the kind of flash you’re thinking….get your head out of gutter! 🙂 This is Utah for crying out loud! 🙂 We were, however, able to have the fun and unique opportunity of going to the Utah Flash Basketball game. Adam scored 4 free tickets from Novell at their company party a few weeks ago when he shot 3 baskets in a row, so tonight we took the boys for a family activity. We had such a great time! Branson was so excited he ran all the way from the ticket line to our seats clear on the other side of the McKay Center. He was more fun to watch than the game! At first he just sat their mesmerized, and unsure of what was going on, and then he would sit and shush people when they screamed and yelled, putting his finger up to his mouth! He loved the Fox that went around giving high fives, and loved the free activities set up behind the bleachers like drawing, coloring, and the kiddie bounce house! The highlight for all of us though was at half-time when they had some dare devils come out and do bike tricks. AND…while I was watching that, I just happened to get a clip of Thurl Bailey walking across the floor to his seat! Sooo cool! He IS famous you know! 🙂 It was a really fun night. We were even able to introduce Adam & Branson to their first cup of “dippin dots!” They both got a funny look on their faces and said, “Wow, that’s cold in your mouth!” Branson spit out his first bite, but then realized it was yummy and tried picking up the dots off the floor and eating them! Eck!
